Business Record Keeping Software

Keep business records secure, organised, and easy to retrieve
Your business records deserve more than scattered folders, email inboxes, and individual devices. Effective business record keeping helps you organise, protect, and retrieve important information when you need it.
Lexkeep helps entrepreneurs and growing businesses create a secure, organised, and verifiable system for managing company records. Keep contracts, invoices, receipts, approvals, board resolutions, meeting minutes, correspondence, policies, reports, and operational documents in one controlled workspace.
A more reliable way to manage business records
Important business records are connected to clients, suppliers, projects, transactions, decisions, and responsibilities. When records are spread across different locations, it can be difficult to find the right version, understand what happened, or retrieve information when it matters.
With Lexkeep, your organisation can:
- Organise records by client, supplier, project, matter, or workspace
- Store documents and other important files in one secure environment
- Control who can access, edit, share, or manage records
- Track relevant activity through event logs and audit trails
- Retrieve records more efficiently
- Share information securely with authorised people
- Request electronic signatures and track the signing workflow
- Apply your own retention workflows where supported by your plan
- Verify whether a file has changed since it was recorded

Keep important records connected
Lexkeep provides a structured workspace for the information surrounding a record—not just the file itself.
Associate documents with relevant:
- Clients
- Suppliers
- Projects
- Transactions
- Business functions
- Decisions
- Board resolutions
- Tasks
- Deadlines
- Communications
- Supporting files
This helps your team understand the context of a record and retrieve related information more efficiently.
Know what happened to a record
A reliable record-keeping process should help your organisation answer practical questions:
- Where is the latest version?
- Who uploaded or changed the file?
- Which client, project, supplier, or business function does it relate to?
- When was it recorded?
- Has the file changed since then?
- Who has access to it?
- Has an agreement been sent for signature?
- Who has signed, declined, or still needs to sign?
- Which decision, approval, or board resolution does it support?
- Can the record be retrieved when needed?
Lexkeep helps maintain a clearer history of records and related activity, supporting continuity, accountability, operational efficiency, and internal review.
Sign documents and track the signing process
Where supported by your plan, Lexkeep allows authorised users to send e-signature requests for business documents and agreements.
Lexkeep can help your organisation:
- Request signatures from relevant parties
- Track the progress of a signing workflow
- Monitor outstanding signature requests
- Record relevant signing events
- Maintain the signing history alongside the related document
- Support audit and internal review
E-signature functionality and applicable limits may vary by plan.
Verify file integrity when it matters
Lexkeep can create tamper-evident blockchain records for file hashes.
The original file is not stored on the blockchain. Instead, Lexkeep calculates a cryptographic hash of the file and records anchoring information that can later help verify whether the file has changed.
Merkle batch anchoring
Multiple file hashes may be combined into a Merkle tree. The resulting Merkle root is then recorded on the blockchain, allowing the integrity of files included in the batch to be verified using the relevant proof.
Direct file-hash anchoring
A file’s hash may be anchored individually where a separate integrity record is required. Direct anchoring is subject to the allowances and limits of the applicable plan.
File Integrity Certificates
Where available, Lexkeep can generate a File Integrity Certificate containing technical information such as:
- File hash
- Hashing algorithm
- File details
- Anchoring information
- Relevant timestamps
- Verification instructions
